The Middle Community is organising a groundbreaking event this December – Birmingham’s first-ever Muslim Unity March. With growing calls for religious harmony, this historic gathering aims to bring together Muslims from all backgrounds in a united stand against sectarianism.
The march, scheduled for Saturday 14th December 2024, will begin outside Lidl on Soho Road in Handsworth at 12:30pm. What makes this event particularly significant is its core message of unity, embodied in our powerful rallying cry: “One God, One Prophet, One Book, One Ummah.”
This grassroots initiative represents a crucial moment for Birmingham’s diverse Muslim community. We have emphasised that all Muslims are welcome, reflecting our commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering understanding between different Islamic traditions.
The march offers an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and connection, something that feels especially vital in today’s world.
The hashtag #JUSTMUSLIM is being used to build momentum and share updates about the march on social media.

This event promises to be more than just a march – it represents a powerful statement about unity, understanding, and the strength of community bonds. We hope that this will be the first of many more marches throughout Birmingham and the UK.
We can’t wait to see you there!
